Cousteau
A member of the Paris Bar since 2008, Mathilde Cousteau specializes in resolving all manner of legal disputes that companies necessarily face in the course of doing business, be they French or foreign, listed or unlisted, at all stages of the pre-litigation or litigation process.
She counsels a number of French and foreign companies during pre-litigation or litigation, before the French courts or in the context of domestic or international arbitration.
Mathilde is a graduate of the Université of Paris II Panthéon-Assas (Master’s in Business Law); of the University of Versailles (DESS in Business Law) and of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (“Sciences Po Paris”), Financial and Strategy section.
Before joining Bersay in 2018, Mathilde Cousteau worked for ten years (2008-2018) at the Paris office of White & Case, including a six-month posting to their Washington D.C. office (2013) as part of a team advising a major bank on a cross-border investigation launched by the U.S., French, and other European regulatory authorities.
