Real Estate Law

Lawyers in the firm’s Real Estate department offer a range of skills enabling them to deal with the most complex issues.

Their practice focuses in particular on real estate investment, financing and assistance in drafting and negotiating leases, both for owners and tenants.

They have extensive knowledge of the office, warehouse, logistics, shopping center and retail rental markets.

The department also assists national and international investors in the acquisition or sale of buildings or real estate portfolios in all asset classes. The real estate team advises and assists its clients in matters of construction, real estate development and drafting of contracts (delegated project management contract, special administrative terms and conditions, general contractor agreements, etc.).

Areas of expertise

Deal structuring; putting in place joint venture agreements; corporate monitoring; drafting and negotiation of asset management agreements.

Due diligence, both seller-side and buyer-side (securities, leases, zoning, security); data room organization and management; drafting and negotiation of purchase or sale agreements; warranties that assets and liabilities are as stated.

Hotels; retail; logistics; healthcare; CINASPIC (public service/collective interest buildings and facilities), facilities for early childhood care and education.

Drafting and negotiation of leases; drafting and negotiation of property management agreements; drafting and negotiation of sales and marketing agreements; real estate litigation.

Structuring of complex development operations; drafting and negotiation of various construction and development-related agreements: VEFA (off-plan sale), BEFA (off-plan lease), CPI (property development contract), MOD (delegated management contract), AMO (project owner support), CCAP (special administrative terms and conditions), etc.

Audit of administrative authorizations (finality of building permits, commercial equipment authorizations, etc.); zoning litigation (challenges to the validity of decisions to grant authorizations and refusals).
