MERGERS & ACQUISITIONS – Bersay & Associés assisted Transatel’s shareholders in the sale of the majority of their shares to NTT Communications, a subsidiary of the NTT group, fourth largest telecommunications company in the world.

Transatel is a French company founded in 2000, leading European MVNE/A (Mobile Virtual Network Enabler/Aggregator) and cellular connectivity solutions provider for the IoT (Internet of Things) sector.

Bersay & Associés advised Transatel’s shareholders on legal aspects (Jérôme Bersay, Stéphanie Benmoussa-Molkhou, Océane Vassard and François Paulze d’Ivoy from the Corporate team, Alain Jouan and Manuela Bitton from the Tax team) and Deauville Partners on financial aspects (Andres Pieczanski, Alice Esmerian and Harry Brun).

Herbert Smith Freehills Paris (Fréderic Bouvet, Magali Fernandes and Jean Rollin) and Herbert Smith Freehills Tokyo advised NTT Communications on legal aspects. Rothschild Tokyo and Paris advised NTT Communications on financial aspects.
